Tamara Madison is a native of the California desert, where she spent her early years on a citrus farm near the San Andreas Fault, in the Coachella Valley. She has lived in many places in the U.S. and abroad, and finds herself in California once again, striving to maintain contact with her animal nature. She is the author of the chapbook The Belly Remembers, and two full-length collections of poems, Wild Domestic and Moraine (all published by Pearl Editions).
